Rules and Regulations

At Ziyuf Al Rahman, we want every pilgrim to have a smooth and safe journey. Please read the following rules and regulations before booking your Hajj or Umrah package.

General Guidelines

  • Hajj and Umrah are acts of worship, not holidays. Pilgrims should prepare for spiritual focus, patience, and simplicity during the journey.
  • All package details provided are based on current information. Services, flight schedules, and hotel bookings are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Hotel star ratings are set by the Saudi authorities and may differ from international standards.

Booking and Payments

  • All prices are based on Saudi Riyals. Any changes in exchange rates may affect your final cost.
  • Reservations are confirmed only after payment is received. Package prices may change, and customers are responsible for any balance due.
  • Bookings are always subject to availability.

Travel Documents

  • It is the pilgrim’s responsibility to submit the correct documents for visa applications. We are not liable for any visa refusal.
  • Passports and supporting documents must be provided at least three weeks before departure.
  • Keep your passport, visa, and tickets safe and accessible at all times.

Flights and Luggage

  • Arrive at the airport at least 3–4 hours before departure.
  • Check your airline’s baggage allowance before travelling. Extra baggage fees are the traveller’s responsibility.
  • Liquids over 100ml are not allowed in hand luggage.
  • You are responsible for your own luggage throughout the journey.

Airport and Transfers

  • Most UK pilgrims are processed through the Hajj terminal in Jeddah. Waiting times for immigration and customs can take 5–12 hours or longer.
  • Our representatives will guide you, but the management of the Hajj terminal is outside our control.
  • Please wear your group wristband at all times for identification and safety.

Health and Safety

  • Keep all medicines in your hand luggage, along with prescriptions and medical records.
  • Carry light snacks or dry food for long waiting times at airports and terminals.
  • Inform us of any disabilities or serious medical conditions before booking so suitable arrangements can be made.

Money Matters

  • Carry Saudi Riyals or British Pounds, which can be exchanged in Saudi Arabia.
  • Do not carry all your money with you at once. Keep small amounts for daily use.

During the Journey

  • Pilgrims should follow instructions from the group leader at all times.
  • Due to the large number of pilgrims, delays and changes may occur, patience is required.
  • Always stay with your group to avoid separation.
  • Meals are included in packages, but on some days, delays may occur due to heavy crowd management.

Important Notes

  • Travel dates for Hajj are based on the Hijri (lunar) calendar and may change depending on moon sightings.
  • The journey from the airport to your hotel in Makkah may take 8–12 hours or longer due to high pilgrim numbers.
  • Always double-check your travel documents before leaving home and allow extra time for traffic and weather.
